I was going to leave it open for an indefinite amount of time trying to achieve a 15 or 16 song album but decided since other things have came up and I have other projects happening that I would end it. Finished with 8 songs and published from October 11, 2011 – November 29, 2011 it was definitely fun and I am happy with the results. I will follow up this album in 2012 with Don Ash Music - volume 02, but first I have to work on some mixes and a few EDM singles. Stay tuned!

We are hopeful that by showing our services in an infomercial that we will give our potential clients a better look into what we really do when we perform. This is huge to the clients that will be hiring us. Recently we visited a wedding we were invited to as guests, and watched the DJ’s (who were charging 5x our rates). We were expecting to take notes and be blown away by this over-priced entertainment company, but could only determine that House of DON Productions offers better service than the competition at a much lower rate (we need to increase our rates). So hopefully we will start obtaining more clients by allowing them to see the better service at lower rates. IT’s a WIN-WIN with House of DON Productions.

Up next is the funny funny video we are shooting, “The Jock Strap Man”. We use the beat from Chris Brown’s “Look At Me Now”, the beat was produced by Diplo, Afrojack and Free School. The song will feature Don Ash and Zacman in a funny discription of how Don Ash think he looks so good, all he needs is a Jock Strap. Zacman follows up with a different take on how Don Ash looks, especially in this Jock Strap. We will be looking to shoot the video ASAP. Stay tuned for the greatest video yet.

We have shot 2 of the 3 scenes as of today, July 4th!, and will shoot the last scene next weekend. hopefully we will have the video up not to long after that. It is very entertaining, stay tuned.

I guess it’s not really a completely different direction being we are still looking to entertain and be creative but it’s different in the fact that we are looking to expose ourselves more through music and film. We recently made a song and video called “Mustache Life (Mustache Anthem)” and are now working on one called “4th of July” (video in process).  These projects have been more than fun, they have been invigorating. Some times it is hard to stay on ones game when the feeling of harsh competition and a lack of energy run you over.

With these new projects, we have discovered an entirely new out-look on what we can do and want to proceed. We have decided to run with these music videos, making them humorous and keeping the mood light and the energy high. Don Ash has an interesting theme for the third video that may get a little more attention than he is ready for, but sometimes you have to take risks. House of DON Productions has also decided to try and move partially into film now that we have music video projects in development. We want to expand and produce more in different avenues. Don Ash is currently working on a short story script, which will hopefully go into production in late August.

All these new angles are new and exciting, we just hope the viewers enjoy it too, because that is a big part of why we do this, we want you to get some sort of fulfillment out of our work. It was som much fun and has lightened the mood of the entire process of producing. With that being said we are planning our next song and video called “4th of July”. You probably guessed that the theme is Christmas…. NOT. Of course the theme is Independence Day and we hope to make it a fun video.

The song is composed of a beat from Nicki Minaj’s album “Pink Friday” called “Did it on ‘em” and Don Ash uses in part some lyrics from the Katy Perry song “Firework”. Performing the song is Don Ash, Zacman and Nikadermus. Producing and mixing the track is done by Don Ash.

The song in whole is going to be fun and explosive, we hope you check it out when it is done and we hope you enjoy it.
